Resolved to Sew 2012

Recently there have be various blog that I follow with posts and, links about Very Berry Handmade's Resolved to Sew Giveaway.

I've been dithering, yes again!  Do I take part or not, but considering over the last few days I've decided that taking part is bound to help me get some sewing completed, ideas developed and well generally just moving on with my crafting.

So here are my 'plans':-

  • Get the Appliqué Challenge quilt finished for the SWD Exhibition in April
  • Pull out and complete at least 2 UFO projects this year
  • Get my bee blocks out in the month they'r due
  • Keep working on, and hopefully improve my FMQing

Well I've made great progress this week on the first item

The central panel is about 98% complete - just some isolated sections that weren't too obvious whilst I was sitting down at the sewing machine.

Bee block #1 is ready to post off, but I might just add another for Krista.  It's that bug, or fondness I have for trying to maximise the usage of a FQ - these personal challenges have a lot to answer for.
